On This Day...

In the North Atlantic, Convoy SC-7 (Sydney, Nova Scotia to Liverpool, England) is attacked by 7 U-Boats - the first 2 attacks were from single boats, but the third attack was by 5 U-Boats at once. The convoy loses 20 of 35 ships. Three of the 7 U-Boats had used all of their torpedoes and had to leave the scene to rearm, but the 4 remaining U-Boats then attack Convoy HX-79 (Halifax, Nova Scotia to Liverpool, England) which had caught up with SC-7 and they end up sinking a total of 34 ships in 48 hours. No U-boats were lost in either engagement. These were the worst two days for shipping losses in the entire Atlantic campaign and made up of more than half of the ships lost in the entire month.

The Japanese mount another air attack on Allied positions in Oro Bay in New Guinea and sustain heavy losses in aircraft and crew. The Japanese counteroffensive around Finschafen continues to be held by Australian forces.

December 6th 8pm (Eastern), lasting until Road agrees to have a have a Winter Lawn Party! Old Farts VERSUS Young Pups (Ya, I changed it...sue me). Splitting the teams at 34/35.

34 and under are wearing diapers and a [YP] tag.
35 and over aren't...well except for Usagi and Bruder cause they are REALLY old, with a [OF] tag.

No lying to be on Drake's team.
